On the Cantorial feature, two very nice selections by Cantor Ivor Lichterman. Born in South Africa, he is the son of the late Cantor Jacob Lichterman, a well-known chazzan in pre-Holocaust Warsaw. In the late 1970’s he came to the United States and has served congregations in Stamford, Connecticut as well as Tucson, Arizona and Toledo, Ohio where he currently served. These two selections are from a 1985 album recorded during his tenure in Stamford.
