Hi Everybody!! Another great special program is up on the website for your enjoyment!! Our second special program for the holiday of Passover with great vintage and modern Jewish music culled from our family archive covering over 110 years of music!! Something great to add a special sparkle to the remainder of the holiday!!

But as events dictate, the first two selections are offered in the memory of those killed in Kansas City last Sunday. Our hearts go out to their families. These are the selections, the first from me and the second from Ben:

1. Ha’azinu Elokim (Psalm 55)-Sung by the late martyred Cantor Gershon Sirota of Warsaw who perished in the Holocaust. This recording was made for Parlophon in Warsaw in 1929. The text, which is very appropriate is as follows:

Listen, O G-d, to my prayer. Do not disregard my pleas. Pay heed to me and answer me. I lament as I speak, and I moan. Because of the shout of the foe, on account of the oppression of the wicked. They accuse me of evil and passionately hate me. My heart shudders within me and the terrors of death have befallen me.

2. Mama Rachel-A song of longing and inspiration by Yaakov Shwekey.

And here is the line-up for the remainder of the program…
