On the Cantorial Feature, two very nice selections by the long-time Cantor of the Great Neck Synagogue in New York, Cantor Eliezer Shulman (1922-2005). Born in Newark, New Jersey he became a well-known chazzan in the New York area when he was still a teenager. After service as a chaplain in World War II, where he was wounded in action and decorated, he became the Cantor of the prestigious Great Neck Synagogue on Long Island. He served there until his passing in 2005. On the Cantorial feature we hear two selections from a 1977 recording:
