On the Cantorial Feature this week, two very nice selections by the famous Cantor Leibele Waldman (1907-1969). He was the most famous American born Chazzan of the Golden Age. He recorded extensively for many different record labels during his career. These two selections are from a very nice 1949 album in which he is accompanied by a quartet under the direction of the famed orchestra and choral director Oscar Julius (1903-1986).
