On the Cantorial Feature, two very fine cantorials by a famous chazzan of the post-war era, Leibele Waldman. Born in New York in 1907, he was the most famous American-born Cantor of the “Golden Age”. He made countless recordings and appeared in concert, radio and films. He passed away in 1969. Here are two very nice cantorial/choral selections from a very early LP made for the ABC company in New York in 1948. He is accompanied by the Oscar Julius Quartet.
