Hi Everybody!! Another great program is up on the website for your enjoyment!! We are beginning the Three Weeks period of mourning which will culminate with Tisha B’Av in few weeks. Even though we present today a regular edition of the program we make some changes to the programming. The Comedy Corner is away for the period and we present more songs of inspiration and introspection which are so vital in this time of year. It’s the kind of special programming that you can only find on Washington Jewish Radio. On the Cantorial Feature, two very nice selections by Cantor Chaim Adler. Cantor Adler is the Cantor of the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem. Born in Israel, he has served and concertized around the world. These two selections are from a 1991 concert held in Jerusalem to commemorate the 25th yartzeit of the legendary Chazzan Moshe Koussevitzky.
