Born in Philadelphia in 1925, she was the daughter of a Cantor and concert singer. She possessed a beautiful, classically trained voice of great power. She appeared in the film “Catskill Honeymoon” in 1948 and in 1953 she recorded an album of Cantorial selections for Capitol Records which was very well received.  She died suddenly in 1960 at the age of only 34 from a reaction to medication.
