On the Cantorial Feature this week, two very nice selections by a Cantor well known in Chicago, Cantor Jordan Cohen (1930-1970), whose career was cut short when he passed away at the age of only 40 years old in 1970. He was the son the famous Chazzan Teveleh Cohen (1895-1987). On today’s program two selections from a 1966 album recorded in Chicago. Both compositions were written by Cantor Jordan Cohen himself.
