On the Cantorial Feature, two very nice selections by Cantor David Jacob, a very fine Chazzan who davvened for many years in Baltimore. Born in Rumania, he was survivor of the Holocaust and davvened in Frankfurt, Germany after the war before coming to the United States. He served two major congregations in Baltimore before leaving to go to New York in the early 1970’s. He passed away some years ago but I was unable to find the exact date of his death. On today’s Cantorial feature, two selections which he recorded during his tenure in Baltimore in the 1960’s.
