On the Cantorial feature, two very nice selections by one of the leading chazzanim in the world today, Cantor Ben Zion Miller. Born in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany in 1946, he came to America as a child. His father was the well known cantor Aaron Miller. After serving several congregations in the New York area in the 1970’s, in 1981 he became Cantor of the prestigious Temple Beth El of Boro Park (known today as Young Israel of Boro Park). He has served as their chazzan ever since. His son, Cantor Shimmy Miller, conducts the congregation’s choir. Here are two nice recordings from various points in his career:
