On the Cantorial Feature this week two very nice selections by a very fine Chazzan of the preceding generation, Cantor Chaskeleh Ritter. Born in 1916 in New York he was one of the leading Cantors in the New York area, after serving as a chaplain in World War II. He passed away in 2002. On today’s Cantorial Feature we hear two selections from a 1954 album, accompanied by the Abraham Nadel choir.
