On the Cantorial Feature we follow up with more based on last week’s Cantorial Feature. On last week’s program we featured two selections from the late Cantor Eliezer Schulman who was cantor for many years at the prestigious Great Neck Synagogue. After he passed away he was succeeded by Cantor Zev Kron, who holds the position to the present day. Cantor Kron was born in Israel where he began singing as a child with his father, a noted chazzan in Rehovot. Coming to the United States he served as cantor of the Nusach Sfard shul in New York before taking the pulpit at Great Neck. The two recordings we hear on today’s program are from a 1989 recording:
1. Retzei
2. Rozo D’Shabbos
