Born in Russia in 1927, he came to America as a young man and in the 1950’s held his first Cantorial positions in the New York area. He was very closely associated with the Lubavitcher Rebbe and was known as “The Rebbe’s Chazzan” and sang at many Chabad gatherings over the years. He passed away in 2012.
