Hi Everybody!! The summer programming rolls on here at Washington Jewish Radio. Another great array of vintage and modern Jewish music on a regular edition of the program. On this week’s program we also wish a very happy 23rd birthday on Friday August 9th, to the best co-host in all of radio, to Ben. On the Cantorial feature, two very nice selections by Cantor Jordan Cohen (1930-1970), famous in Chicago as was his father, Cantor Tevele Cohen (1895-1987). His promising and fine cantorial career was cut short when died of cancer at the untimely age of only 40. The two selections are from a 1966 album released by his shul, Beth El of Chicago.
