On the Cantorial feature, two very nice selections by the famed Chazzan, Kalmen Kalich. Born in Austria in 1903, he came to America as a child and was a child cantor and soloist. He sang as a child in the choir of the famous Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt. For over 50 years he was the Chazzan of the famous shul Ohav Zedek in New York. He held that post until his passing in 1982. We hear two selections from a very fine 1964 Tikva album:
