I also wish a very happy 25th birthday to Ben, the best co-host in radio!! Ben’s contribution to the show is integral and crucial in all aspects of the show on both sides of the microphone. It is a unique honor for me to have Ben doing the program with me and I consider myself very lucky for that!!

On the Cantorial Feature, two very nice selections by Cantor Moshe Taube. Born in Poland in 1927, he was saved as one of those on Schindler’s famous list. After the war, he emigrated to Israel, where he stayed until 1957, when he came to the United States. In 1965, he became cantor of the Beth Shalom congregation in Pittsburgh. He also was a distinguished professor of music at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Today he lives in retirement in Pittsburgh and is the Cantor Emeritus of the congregation. He is today one of the “elder statesman” of the Cantorial profession. On the Cantorial Feature are two selections from the 1960’s, both with accompaniment by the shul’s choir.
